The 1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III took 9 months for us to restore. It won First in it's Class at the 1981 Rolls-Royce Owners' Club National Meet held in French Lick, Indiana. The next year's National Meet in Boca Raton, Florida, it wasn't allowed to compete in the Silver Cloud I, II,III & Phantom V Class again, but , it competed for a Senior Award against ALL the other First Place finishers in ALL R-R classes (from the first Silver Ghosts to the current Silver Spirit Class winners) from the previous year. IT WON (called the Rolls-Royce of Canada Award). Next year, in San Diego, Ca., it won the Rolls-Royce of Canada Award again, this time competing against a whole new set of First Place Class winners ...on the West Coast ...dreaded mecca of super-fine automobiles. The owner retired the car after that and later sold it to Arthur Q. Davis ...Architect with Curtis & Davis that designed The Rivergate and father of Quint Davis founder of Jazz Fest.

Polishing door capping rails for a 1956 Silver Cloud I. A tedious task, but a satisfying one after hours of monotonous pre-sanding.
