Beautiful 2012 Softail came in with charging issues. After testing, the stator showed low AC voltage. The moment I cracked open the primary, the smell told the story—burnt stator! Out with the old, in with the new, and back on the road where it belongs.

🚨 Yet another brake issue caught just in time! 🚨
This bike came in for a basic Harley 3-hole service, and during our full inspection (which is always included at Schneider's WGC), I found the rear master brake cylinder was nearly empty! 😱

On top of that, the clutch cable was improperly installed and adjusted by a previous local tech.

✅ No worries though—everything was squared away at no extra cost to the customer.

💥 Remember: Harley 3-hole services at Schneider’s WGC are only $200, and that includes up to 5 quarts of oil, primary, and transmission fluid.

Yes, I'm posting about brake fluid again—because it's THAT important.

This is the second time I’m bringing it up, and for good reason: brake fluid is one of the most overlooked parts of motorcycle maintenance. It should be checked and changed every time your bike is serviced, but too many techs skip it.

Not me. At Schneider's WGC, I make it a priority—because your safety depends on it.
Brake fluid breaks down over time and absorbs moisture, which can seriously impact your stopping power.

Don't let something this small become a big problem.
Ride safe. Stay sharp. I’ve got your back.

Just finished up work on a 2004 Electra Glide Standard. Replaced both the primary and secondary chain tensioners inside the cam chest—those tensioner shoes were completely disintegrated. Cleaned out all the broken pad debris, tore down and inspected the oil pump to make sure there was no damage, and got everything reassembled.

Here’s the kicker: the customer was quoted $3,500 just for parts at another shop. I got it done right, without the crazy markup—and now she’s alive and running strong again. Feels good to bring a bike back to life the right way.

Moments like this are why I started Schneider’s WGC.

One of my customers showed up out of the blue with something incredible—a custom-built chopper sculpture, welded entirely out of motorcycle chain, a spoon for the seat, allen keys for the handlebars, and pipe for the wheels. Handcrafted. Thoughtful. One of a kind.

I was genuinely honored.

This wasn’t just a gift—it was a reminder that what we’re building here isn’t just a repair shop. It’s a community. A place where relationships matter more than transactions.

To every rider who’s stopped by the garage—thank you. You’re the reason I do this.

Did you know?

Your clutch and throttle cables should be lubricated regularly to keep your bike running smoothly and safely. At Schneider's WGC, we include cable lubrication with every 3-hole service—because your ride deserves the best care.

Another beautiful bike, another victim of an untrained tech.

While performing a simple front tire replacement, I ran into multiple issues that stemmed from the last time the front wheel was removed—clearly not by someone properly trained.

It started with the chrome cap covers. These are held in place with small set screws, but the screws were completely stripped. I had to drill them out and replace them.

Next, the front axle nut. It had been cranked on with an impact gun and required a breaker bar just to break it loose—definitely not the right way to do it.

Then, I removed the front calipers and found red Loctite used on the caliper bolts. That’s a big no-no. Harley doesn’t call for red Loctite there.

Finally, when I went to remove the two pinch bolts holding the axle, both stripped out. After using my easy outs, I found the same issue: red Loctite again.

This is exactly why you take your bike to a trained Harley technician.
I’ve included pictures below, along with the official torque specs and procedures for these bolts—nowhere does it say to use red Loctite.

I chased all the threads and will be reinstalling everything to factory spec, using the proper torque straight from the Harley manual.

Your bike deserves better.
