Minnicks Towing & Recovery is seeking a highly skilled full-time Heavy Duty Road Mechanic.

When not responding to roadside calls, the ideal candidate will perform equipment maintenance at our facility.

Responsibilities include running service calls on heavy-duty trucks.

The successful candidate must possess extensive heavy-duty mechanical experience, with ASE Heavy Duty certification considered a significant advantage.

We require a motivated individual who can work flexible hours.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary and after-hours commission.

In order to be considered for this career opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

-Must have verifiable experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Class A CDL w/ no automatic restrictions
- Be At least 23 years old
- Have a Clean Background (Working with several law enforcement agencies requires employees to have a clean background, some exceptions can be made- please ask for details)
- Have a Clean driving record ( No moving violations or accidents in the past 5 yrs)
- MUST have or be able to obtain Virginia Tow License
-Must live In the surrounding areas or be willing to stay at our shop for the nights / weekends scheduled “on call” in employee living quarters.

Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 7am- 7pm with every other night off & every other weekend "on call".
