Changed alternator on a 2006 Mazda Tribute witj V6. Quoted cost was $893 parts and labor..Our cost..parts only, owner provided parts, we did the labor at no charge.

Time of repair, 2hr 17 minutes
To include exchanging his battery for new one.

Job required the removal of cv axle, and top motor mount so engine could be jacked up, thus allowing room to pull out old alternator and sliding new one it. Not a horrible job, but an almost impossible job for someone who doesnt have the right tools or equipment. Hence why or how the shops justify the high labor cost..

Avoid the high shop prices. Call us, well get you back on the road, without being broke.

This is why I do what I do for free. This is just a ruined day waiting to happen and is completely avoidable!!

Timimg chain kit replacement today. On a 2012 Sonata 2.0l turbo. Doing it in the parking lot of apartment complex. Hoping to be done and running by 9pm tonight.

2012 Hyundia Sonata Limited. 2.0l Turbo. Fresh oil change, new camshaft sensors(2), new VVT Soleniods(2), new crankshaft, 4 new tires (20 in aftermarket rims, came with those, do not have the orginal ones). New Abs wheel speed sensors (4),new knock sensor, new ambient temperature sensor, new brakes, new brake/tail/turn signal wire harness for passanger and driver side (with new led bulbs) new lift assist gas shocks for hood. 164k miles, runs strong as it should, android touch screen stereo with navigation.

Asking $5200 but will entertain offers or may even consider trades

Hi Everyone,

Rek's Auto Repair was started as an idea a few years back. We offer FREE or good will donation basic/light automotive repair and emergency services.

We are currently regiatered as a NON Profit business in Nebraska. We are working towards becoming federally registered as a complete NON Profit Organization.

We hope to have a full shop opened up and running by the end of 2025, which opens us up to offer more services, while also operating as a Mobile Service as well.

Its our mission to help people provide for their families by helping them keep their means of transportation run safely and effectively. Thus hoping to eliminate the financial stress of expensive car repairs.

This is a part time, mobile service (we currently work a full time job to help fund this mission). As part of our Mobile Service, we come to you, or the location of the vehicle in need of repairs. At this time we limit our services in Buffalo County only.

We do not provide parts, nor do we loan out any tools. We do not offer any diagnostic services. Our services is limited to LABOR only. We install the parts you provide.

We also offer FREE or good will donation 24 hr emergency roadside assistance, and or jump starts.

It is our belief that single acts of kindness will help to fuel the change this world needs. This is our way of doing our part, and using the tools and knowledge God has chosen to provide us with to help others in need.

We hope these acts of kindness will help guarantee that our Grandkids will inherent a world far better than the one we currently live in.
