This time of year, many of you are probably recovering from the holidays, cleaning out the house, and making way for 2026! Our good friend Marie Kondo has taught us that if an item no longer brings you joy when you touch it, then it’s time to throw it out! This morning, we visited our tire inventory and when touched - we felt no joy from these tires. None at all. Like, we didn’t even smile. Unfortunately we can’t just throw away a bunch of brand new tires - but we can give them away AT OUR COST!!!! So that’s what we’re doing!

We have a safe and easy way for you to have access to your vehicle's keys after we close! We have a key lock box on the front of our building for this very purpose. Just ask your service advisor about an after-hours pickup and we'll be happy to get it set up for you!

Every Road trip starts with hopes and dreams of a memorable time spent driving to new and exciting places! The last desire is to have car trouble that takes up more time and money than you ever want to spend during a time that you were supposed to be enjoying your time.

There are many basic systems and components on all vehicles that can be inspected before a trip. Even a basic inspection by a certified technician can make the difference in avoiding inconvenient vehicle repairs while on a trip.

Egan Auto offers "trip check" inspections that specifically focus on systems and components that are most likely to have issues during a trip. We have seen and saved many vehicles from potential issues by identifying and addressing current or potential issues to ensure a safe and trouble free trip.

Potential trouble areas are the following:
- low fluids
-tire issues
-suspensions systems
-fluid leaks
-brake system
-spare tire condition
-steering system

All these systems are checked and notes are made on the conditions we observe. A test drive is also performed to check for any signs of suspension wear, improper tire balance and alignment, abnormal noises or sounds, engine and transmission performance, brake system performance, and general driving performance.

So... its time for another oil change... and your schedule is so crazy this week! You want to get this done on time and not wait, but fining a ride and a good day to get to the shop seems impossible!

Want to hear the good news? Here at Egan Auto, we believe that getting your car serviced and/or repaired shouldn't be a huge life disruptor. We will happily pay for an Uber to take you home after dropping off your car and picking you back up to bring you to the shop once your car is done!

The only question left is- when is the best time for you to bring down your car?
