Cleaning out our freezer. Selling these rolls at $20/yard. All 3 rolls are 50” wide.
7 yards 280 gsm 4x4 twill woven into a “v” in the center ($140)
12 yards 280 gsm 4x4 twill ($240)
32 yards 203 gsm 2x2 twill ($640)

This is all first run fabric no defects or flaws.

Resin system is TCR UF3325. Cures as low as 270° F for 4 hours. Material still has very good tack, flow, and curing characteristics. we ran a sample and it cured just fine.

Material has been stored at -20°F for 42 months. The conforming storage time at 0°F is 30 months. As mentioned above, the resin still seems to cure as specified

I am not willing to cut yardage or ship material. Pick up only. Rolls will be sold in full length.

Working on a new process for Dry Forged Carbon (36% resin by weight).
Why is that important?
The lower the resin content and higher the compaction, the stronger and lighter a part becomes. Typically, Forged carbon is made from a slurry of chopped carbon fiber strands and resin and injected into a closed mold under pressure. Similar to plastic injection molding. The issue is the elevated resin content needed for this process makes the parts heavier without any added strength. It can also cause the part to become more brittle and even discolor over time with UV exposure.

Job Position: Composite Technician

Location: Kaukauna WI

Work in our fast growing shop using advanced carbon fiber composites in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Requirements: Must have experience with shop safety, SOP's and proficient with hand and power tools. Position requires the ability work with precision measurements and complex procedures.

Beneficial: Preferably, We are looking for someone that has composite experience. Working with vacuum bagging, autoclaves, and various tooling and fixtures. Body shop skills are also a plus.

Hours: We are initially looking for 20-30 hr/week with a possibility of more hours based on proficiency and skill.

Wage: Negotiable
