I normally stay quiet and focus on my work, but when I start hearing that people in the same industry are talking down on my business personally and hoping for my failure, I feel the need to speak up.
Healthy competition is part of what makes any industry better. It pushes people to improve, stay humble, and continue growing. I truly respect that side of business.
But behind every small business is a real person sacrificing time, sleep, energy, and peace of mind trying to make something work. Most of us aren’t giant corporations. We’re people trying to provide for our families, keep the lights on, pay bills, and build a future through hard work and long hours.
That’s why it’s disappointing to hear personal attacks or people wishing failure on someone else’s business. No matter who you are or what industry you’re in, nobody truly understands the pressure, stress, and sacrifice that comes with running a business until they’ve done it themselves.
I’m going to continue focusing on my customers, my quality of work, and the people who support me. I genuinely wish success for anyone willing to put in the work and chase something they believe in, because I know firsthand how hard it really is.
