Post 1 of 2: This truck was brought in to address some concerns with work that had been performed elsewhere. After cycling the front end, it was confirmed that alignment was out. This was caused by an improper slot delete kit install, and the only way to correct alignment was via top arm. My guess is that the tech ran out of shank on the heims, as they are turned out 1.585, which left less than a half inch of thread engagement. After removing the slot deletes, I cleaned up the factory lower arm mounts, revealing the amount of material that was removed. I will have to either cut further up or add material to repair and replace with correct slot delete plates. The shocks were blown or leaked fluid from loose resi hoses and bad o-rings, hoses were rubbing as well. Bad cv axles, a blown steering rack, and improperly constructed wiring harnesses for auxiliary lights are all issues that are being fixed. The only solution is to remove, cut out, and start fresh. New parts are here and some on the way, and I will update with post 2 upon completion. Thanks for reading all the way through!

Looks like I am getting back into the Raptor market. Fabrication and design, parts installs and sales, as well as service. Looking forward to meeting new clients as well as reconnecting with those who have supported me in the past. After 7 years in Houston, it seems that this is what comes naturally. Anyways, heres a shot of all 3 Raptor platforms that are in for repairs, service, and part installation with electrical work.

Not a bad start for the first trip into the shop for ‘s new TRX. It came in with 300 miles on the dash to get a bolt on front bumper designed and fabricated, a leveling kit, some and he sourced the 37x18x12.5 KM3’s. I constructed the wire harnesses for the sets of LP6’s and tied them into the factory upfitter switches. Next on the list is a matching rear bumper and finding out how to tuck a 37” spare under the bed!

An Argentine Brasero Grill isn’t normally in my fabrication requests, but it happened, and now I’m here. 2 2x2 grill surfaces with drip pans, that are on elevators, and a 1x2 Brasero that is easily removable for refilling and cleaning. All stainless material and a front door with breather vents. Going to lay some nice tig welds to glue the structure together and set fire bricks in and around the lower sheet metal work and tubing to hold the heat in. Definitely going to be a high end, quality item when completed. There will be a few units available for purchase.

Got around to drawing a coilover shock conversion kit for the real for his hooptie cat eye Chevy, this morning. Made it plasma table friendly with press brake tabs and slots for the tabs to interlock for some easy locating. Bug him to cut and install it all and report back what the travel comes to.
