Finished up a Slingshot Air ride disaster. Never seen an Airlift setup like this on a Slingshot. Customer bought this used 2017 that had this monstrosity already installed but rear shock was leaking so would not stay inflated. She bought a set of Rev Dynamics Firestone shocks for it. The fronts are welded to the frame on top and lower shock mount parts are missing so she opted to leave the fronts for now and just change the rear. They used copper tubing for air lines but so far they do not leak. The rear shock mount had been homemade so had to put a stock one back on it. Back together and working good. Installed a ddm aluminum coolant tank and flushed clutch fluid and readjusted front bumper and belt. Looks like someone tried to go cheap on airride but after seeing this disaster, I think it was not cheap to build. Recommend sticking with Rev Dynamics Air Ride.

Just finished up an angle drive replacement upgrade in a 2015 Slingshot using a brand new 2022 angle drive, belt, drive pulley, and driveshaft. Much more beefy cast angle drive for a rental slingshot that a rental customer broke the nose on the original angle drive. Installed the 2022 drive as so far no one has reported breaking one, so should be a better deal strength wise for this abused rental.

This new drive with belt adjusted at 3/4 " slack, is extremely quiet.

Now for the even better news and reason to upgrade. The new ratio really makes the Ecotec better use the torque available, and acceleration increase on this pure stock slingshot is amazing and a blast to drive. 4th and 5th gear see much better acceleration and bumps rpm up higher. I plan to install one in my 2018 once I get caught up on work and with my tuned ecm, cai, and WP cat delete duals with 1320 header, with pedalmax, it should be a real screamer.
I played around some and found with the new ratio, you can dump the clutch at idle and it takes off without stalling, so for folks with poor clutch start abilities, especially renters, this should save the clutch and reduce or eliminate poor starts. For 2019 and back, I think with the new ratio, it might work better with the older pulley and belt instead of the new smaller drive pulley and shorter belt and keep the rpm per mph a little lower, but still provide better torque and acceleration. I will test my theory when I install mine to see which is the best for everyday driving. If you want drag race improvement, use the smaller pulley and belt.

We are now a dealer for TRUE LASER TRACK ALIGNMENT SYSTEMS in Katy, Tx performing precision 3 wheel (and quad conversions also) wheel alignment on Polaris Slingshots.
There was a local shop doing them, but he stopped doing Slingshots recently and is only doing Can Am and others now.
We purchased his equipment as well as the other needed equipment from the manufacturer and are now the only shop with this equipment in the Houston area to do your Slingshot alignments.

So contact us via private message and can schedule or discuss your alignment needs.
We are equipped to set toe-in, caster, and camber using precision lasers. If you changed your ride height suspension using adjustable shocks or air ride, you are likely out of alignment and not realizing your wearing your tires. Toe in even from the factory is usually not correct and in spec, so your slingshot likely does not handle well. I had mine aligned using this system and mine was off on a 2018, but now tracks straight as an arrow so convinced me to buy the system and keep fixing other's Slingshots.

Update 12/7/2023 - Slingaroo rhd Slingshot is now registered and legally driving in Queensland, Australia. They registered it as a Roadster so assigned car license plates front and back, so seat belts are required to be worn but no helmets required. Owner is very happy with that designation and already enjoying his new ride. The first and only Slingshot to be imported into Australia and legal to drive on public roads. The adventure has just began and he will be the envy of anyone seeing it. So glad it finally is on the road down under. Might be doing another one soon once he finds a buyer for one. Stay tuned.

Update 1/29/2023 from owner- still in compliance and currently projected to be released early Feb 2023.

Update 11/2/2022. Slingaroo RHD Slingshot has arrived in Australia and should be out of customs soon.

Right Hand Drive Slingshot finally on it's way to Australia. It has shipped from Katy TX to Los Angeles and was unloaded at the container loading facility this past week, so should be on a boat soon. Owner will be glad to finally get it and is ready to finally drive one. Came out awesome but was a lot of work. Found a carrier with an enclosed car hauler so arrived in perfect condition. Big box is a Wycked Hitch the owner will install.

One of our customer builds of a DDMWORKS Stage 3 Turbo install along with a DDMWORKS aluminum coolant expansion tank, powdercoated valve cover, and red Silicone hoses. Fired up and runs great and sounds badass. Added the DDMWORKS angle drive brace and changed angle drive oil with Amsoil, finished hooking up the boost gauge and took it out for the road test. This was a real screamer once completed.

Just finished up an air ride conversion on a 2018 SLR. The Rev Dynamics digital air ride originally was the Accuair CVT system that the compressor finally failed and would not pressure up the tank. This system is obsolete and compressor is no longer made to install inside the tank. We pulled the tank assembly, gutted the inside of the tank, rewired valve solenoids, converted it to a VT system and installed an external Viair compressor, inline water separator, tank pressure gauge, tank pressure transmitter, and compressor relay along with rewiring the air ride ecm feed wiring. All back up and maintaining 150 psi tank pressure. Alot cheaper than installing a new air management system and now more reliable. Hit us up if your wanting a new air ride system installed or you have a failed older system that needs help. The new compressor mounted behind the air filter required building new aluminum brackets and fits under the hood fine. This system has the large air tank in front of radiator so no room to mount the compressor in that area.
Note. We also did the powdercoat work under the hood on this Slingshot a couple of years ago and still looks great. We have spare valve covers and intake tubes so can get the powdercoat done and swap out with yours so less downtime on your slingshot. Also have lots of aluminum coolant tanks in several colors in stock and can replace your plastic tank that will eventually leak.
