Finally got the old Sears Roto Spader running after rebuilding the pulsa jet carburetor, cutting a new groove on the crank shaft for the flywheel key way, new spark plug, oil change, and upgraded the points and condenser to electronic ignition magneto.

1997 F150 4.6L 4WD.
COMPLAINT = Stuck in low range. Manual shift on floor Borg Warner Transfer Case: shifter feels normal, light on dash corresponds to shift lever position. Vehicle won’t exceed 30 mph , high pitch whine sound (stuck in low)
PROBLEM = T-case pump ear where recessed into notch in case wore through allowing pump to spin broke pick up strainer tube, parts no longer lubricated, range shift fork inserts worn down no longer engaging low range hub.
FIX = Fabricated bracket with steel key to fit in groove made by pump ear, replaced range fork and hub, cleaned strainer, replaced pick up tube, cleaned/removed all metal shavings, lubed bearings, checked tolerances and reassembled.

1997 F150 4WD. Stuck in low range. This truck has the manually operated shifter on the floor Borg Warner 44-06 Transfer Case. Shifter felt normal, dash 4WD L/H indicators functioned normally but would not go faster than 30 mph . Range fork worn down no longer actuating the clutch disc.

2015 28’ tandem axle enclosed trailer wheel bearing failure. The retaining nut was still tight. The brake shoes looked normal. Not sure if debris got in the drum and made it’s way into the bearings or if the magnet was dragging?👉🏻🔥

2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
COMPLAINT= Engine starts then immediately dies. SECURITY light on dash blinking. Pass lock/antitheft engaged.
With a little patience, a little knowledge and about 30 minutes this issue can be fixed.

The LCD digital display on my 20 year old fluke DMM broke but thanks to facebook market I found a great deal on a new fluke 83III along with a fluke amp clamp, continuity tester, & electronic air cleaner test probe.

DIY back yard home made tree mounted jib crane. This crane is great for loading & unloading engines, riding lawn mowers, four wheelers and just about anything else in and out of the bed of a pick up truck or trailer. 2” x 1/4” wall square tubing, 1” solid round bar, and an old lower control arm with bushings, & a 4’ long x 8” wide piece of 3/8” flat plate.
