Our team had a blast at our Grand Opening Party last week in Kansas City! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate this next chapter for City Truck Equipment, and special shoutout to Kaela Naines for organizing the event!

From the vendor displays and equipment demos to the conversations, food, and giveaways, the turnout and support were incredible. It was great seeing customers, partners, vendors, friends, and family all under one roof.

We’re excited about where City Truck Equipment is headed and even more excited about the team and partners helping us build it!

The event will be held next Thursday, May 7th, from 3-6 PM and will feature food, drinks, raffle prizes, doorbuster gifts for the first 50 attendees, facility tours, and live product demos from several of our vendor partners.

Last week our team hosted a party to celebrate the Grand Reopening of our St. Louis location!

We didn't move far – our new location is just across the street from the old one in the fully renovated former Broadway Ford building. We were so excited to be able to bring customers and partners through the doors to see what we’ve been working on.

Attendees were greeted by golf carts as they came in and shuttled to the front entrance to be given a full tour of the facility. The event featured Pappy's BBQ, drinks, games, music, and even a golf simulator!

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a great event. We had an absolute blast!

Our Kansas City stores held their annual Chili Cookoff today. We just wrapped the final count, and here are your official 2025 champions:

✅ KCI Location: Jenna Tammen, whose secret ingredient was bacon.
✅ Olathe Location: Blake Catterson, whose secret ingredient was having his fiancée make it for him.
✅ City Truck Equipment (KC location): Terrence Jackson, whose secret ingredient was low participation from his peers.

We put strong emphasis on service initiatives, which is why we offer and encourage our employees to use paid VTO (volunteer time off) days to give back to their local communities.

This past week, Jenna, Kaela, and Henry, spent one of their VTO days on what might be the cutest volunteer mission of all time.

They joined Wayside Waifs, Kansas City’s largest no-kill pet adoption campus, where they painted, organized, and got to end the day playing with puppies.

We’re proud to see our team making a difference, and having fun while doing it!

What a day at our Atlanta branch! Huge thanks to Georgia Utility Contractors Association (GUCA) and Georgia Hispanic Construction Association (GHCA) for allowing us to host a members luncheon this past week.

The event had a great turnout, filled with great conversations and fun activities – from two food trucks and new member spotlights to the highlight of the day: Scott Brumbelow braving the dunk tank to raise money for the GUCA scholarship fund.

If you’re interested in joining either of these associations, we can’t recommend them enough!
