KCKA Opening Weekend Recap

Lots of new this weekend for the Boyz

New Karts, Stickers and a few new drivers under the tent.

We got to premier our new chassis and our new sticker kits this weekend…. Man do we look good!

LO206 Senior…. We did freaking awesome!!!
David claimed 1st on Sat, 6th on Sun.
Travis claimed 3rd on Sat, 1st on Sun.
Lucas claimed 3rd on Sun.
Quinton (2nd weekend ever) didn’t have the best luck but carried good mid field pace. Ended with DNFs both days

LO206 Masters…. Travis convinced Lucas to race last min Saturday morning. Lucas grabbed a 2nd place behind the local legend Myles Bland

LO206 Junior… Junior is a tough class this year and we have some work to do. The boys over at R3 put in serious prep work and it showed this weekend, nice job fellas!

Overall, I think, our Boyz did great and we got faster every session and we walked away with a few lessons learned.

Noah claimed 3rd on Sat, DNF on Sun
Paxton claimed 4th on Sat, DNF on Sun
Gage claimed 5th on Sat, 4th on Sun

LO206 Cadet…. We had 1 LB this weekend

Dillion is working hard and it was only his second weekend in his new to him Benik chassis. We got faster every day but ended deep in the cadet class both days.

However, Benik Karts did take the win both days in the lo206 cadet

Jack Baines on Sat and Max Tucker on Sunday.

Well done Jack and Max. Hopefully we can get one or both of you guys rolling with us very soon!!

Sticker shoutout! After about a year of working with Geoff Shaw. He finally decided to give in and do some overlays for a mutual friend in Texas. So we jumped on the opportunity for him to do some for us a well. And man. Do these things look great!!! If you are in the market. Give the guys at Shaw Stickers a chance. You won’t be disappointed!

While our BENIK’s are putting on a school here in KC. We are keeping tabs on our boy Beau Wyatt, who is now the MicroSwift Iame Grand National Champion!!!!!

Lost Boyz Motorsports had a great time working at the national level with our local driver Beau Wyatt. After struggling all week with being crashed in a hornet’s nest of the world’s best drivers, Beau started 23rd for Super Sunday and managed to climb his way to a 9th place finish at SKUSA SuperNationals. Our little driver was still a little upset that he didn’t have a few more laps to close the gap on the leaders. He really wanted to bring home some hardware from one of kartings biggest stages against some of the worlds best….

Lost Boyz Motorsports is excited to announce we will be working with Beau more in 2026 and our cadet program will certainly benefit heavily!!
