Although none of us really "knew" Kyle Busch, we have been around him frequently over the course of the last few years as Brexton raced a Bandolero and Legend, and then Kyle also began racing in the Masters Legend division. While Kyle had something of a "villain" persona in NASCAR, to our families, Brexton was just another driver and Kyle was just another dad there racing these events with his son.

We raced at Hickory Motor Speedway yesterday, where Kyle and Brexton had also originally planned to race. After we got the news, looking over at their tent, lowered like a flag at half mast and left out in the rush, was surreal. The mood in the pits was subdued and you could visually see the effect on everyone there. Our youngest drivers still had to strap in and race and you could tell it was tough on each of them.

We are praying for Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and everyone in their circle whose lives are now irrevocably changed. Kyle's loss impacts so many in the Legend and Bandolero racing community and he will be deeply missed.

is making the most of the Showdown Series practice at Hickory Motor Speedway today, with our drivers Cameron Bolin Racing, PEP III Racing Tryson Pinion, and Jacob Hassey Racing hitting the track and then analyzing the data back at the trailer. We're super excited to have Cameron sharing some of his "racer's wisdom" with our team's younger drivers!
