1994 ford ranger, customer complaint was would die when driving. During diagnostic found low fuel pressure and flow. Replaced the fuel pump and it runs great! Looks like the original pump from 1994.

Customer complaint of a noise thinking it was the throw out bearing, turns out a bolt from the slave cylinder was dropped at one point into the bell housing, causing damage to the inside of the transmission bell housing and damaging a dust shield that was making the sound

Customer had 2 shops tell her the oil leak was the rear main seal, a very costly and time consuming job. Upon removing the air box and battery I saw fresh oil sitting on top of the transmission and in the valley of the motor. Upon removal of the intake we discovered it was just the oil pressure switch.

Vehicle has the performance brake kit from the factory, some shop ended up putting on the standard kit. Front rotors were to small and causes to only wear part of the pad; rear rotors that were put on were solid instead of vented.
Issues that could arise,
Front, brake pads can end up touching causing no braking in the front.
Rear, with the solid rotor being much thinner once the pads wear down it can cause the piston in the caliper to push out too far causing brake fluid to leak out slowly or the entire piston being pushed out, both causing brake failure.
Vehicle also had many loose bolts on the brake system as well. Thankfully this was caught before the owner ended up in a serious crash and inured.

Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s good. But also not all shops are crooked. Make sure to find a reliable shop that will fully ensure the correct fix every time.
