Already working as a powder coater but wondering if there’s a better opportunity out there?

ABF Fabrication in Joshua, Texas is looking for an experienced powder coater who understands that a quality finish starts long before the powder gun comes out.

This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday.

What we offer:

• Starting pay of $25 per hour, based on experience
• Three-day weekends
• Consistent, full-time schedule

We’re looking for someone experienced with:

• Metal preparation and sandblasting
• Masking and plugging
• Powder-gun setup and adjustment
• Coating tubing, weld joints and complex parts
• Oven loading and cure verification
• Preventing contamination, thin coverage and other finish defects
• Maintaining consistent first-pass quality

If you can conquer small diameter tubing, you can weld anything!

The narrower the tube, the higher the difficulty. Torch angle, weld positions, heat control, changing joint types and getting comfortable are all uphill battles that we tackle daily.

But ego aside, this is never a game of being better than the next guy. It's a promise to the customer that they are receiving the utmost quality control, attention to detail and clean ex*****on on every order. Even when we know it'll all be hidden under powder coat, we make sure its done right; every time.

Our current cage backlog is running 5–6 weeks, so getting one without the normal build wait is pretty rare.
