After 9 years at the Ervin Industrial location, it’s time to turn the page on this chapter. A big THANK YOU to all of you who supported us through these years! It’s been a wild ride- I’ve learned a lot but more importantly, my faith in God has grown much stronger. He blessed and provided for us, He encouraged me in the down times, and He always directed my path toward the narrow road. It’s sometimes impossible to see where our road is headed, but I trust that His plan is far better for me than my plan for myself.

ANNOUNCEMENT: I recently lost the shop space that I have leased for the last 9 years. In the years prior, I had an eye out for alternate shop options to facilitate future growth and improvement of our services offered at Forged by Fago Garage. But this new development came much sooner than expected. Much effort was subsequently spent attempting to find another building in or around Jordan, but this was met with road block after road block. It became evident, that I was not going to be able to continue offering services with the same quality and care that I have insisted on for so long.

Therefore, sadly, and after these many years of serving our customers, I have decided to end Forged by Fago Garage's automotive and light truck repair. I WILL continue to work on the Excelsior-Henderson motorcycles as this requires a much smaller footprint (at a new location, but still in Jordan, MN).

We truly thank you for all these years of loyal patronage and hope that you can find another auto repair shop that will care for you the way you deserve.

Is fix-a-flat or tire slime any good? We occasionally remove a tire that has been filled with fix-a-flat. Aside from being a gooey mess, it rarely stops a leak in tires. In this particular case, the tire slime had coagulated into a big chunk of… well, hardened slime (that doesn’t balance well as the tire is spinning down the road!). There’s also a pool of uncured slime still sloshing around in the tire. To top it all off, the liquid saturated the tire pressure sensor which caused that to fail. What seemed like an easy fix turned into a bigger problem.
