Just because your vehicle is older doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a chipped key!

This customer’s 1999 F-150 quit starting after his original key broke. He had new metal keys made that opened the doors and turned the ignition, but the truck still wouldn’t start.

He was told his truck didn’t have a chipped key — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

I came out, cut and programmed a new transponder key, and got him back on the road.

Transponder keys have been around since the 90s, and many look just like a regular key.

A friendly reminder about customer-supplied keys.

When you bring us your own key or fob, you’re paying for my time, knowledge, programming, and use of my specialized equipment, and subscriptions required for some cars. That charge applies whether the key programs successfully or not.

Not all aftermarket keys are created equal, and unfortunately, some simply won’t work.

Personally, I wouldn’t trust a $15 Amazon/ eBay key to reliably start my vehicle every day… and neither should you!

When you purchase your key from 4 State Car Keys, we can stand behind both the product and the programming.

We strive to provide quality keys and fobs!

I provide a 1-year warranty on MY keys and fobs. If you have an issue with one, let me know and I’ll make it right.

The only things not covered under the warranty are water damage or physical damage.

Sometimes trying saving a few bucks on a key ends up costing more in the long run!
