When you make an insurance claim on your vehicle, just remember this. YOU have the right to choose who works on YOUR car. Do not let anyone tell you that you have to take it to someone other than the shop you prefer. If there is a specific shop that you want to work on your car, make it very clear to the agent you are speaking to that that is shop you want to do the service needed. Please mention that preferred shop by name.
