🏁 In the Winner’s Circle — Madison Drafke 🏁

This week we’re featuring Madison Drafke and her 1973 Chevy Nova race car.

🔥 408 Stroker Small Block Chevy
🏁 First big-car race at Builders Brawl

Madison and her mom picked up the Nova only about a month and a half ago, expecting it to be race ready — until they discovered oil underneath the car right before Builders Brawl.

That kicked off a crash course in engine building.

With help from family friend Joe Zolper, the motor came out and was torn down, giving Madison a firsthand look at what an engine shouldn’t look like — and how to properly put one back together.

In just two weeks, the engine was back in the car and running again.

“He told me this won’t be the last time the motor comes out, but next time it’s gonna be me and only me working on it (with adult supervision of course).”

Madison says she couldn’t thank Joe enough for everything he’s done for her — and after all the hard work, she had an absolute blast competing in her very first race in a full-size race car at Builders Brawl.

That passion, determination, and willingness to learn is exactly what belongs In the Winner’s Circle.

🏁 In the Winner’s Circle — Noah Moore 🏁

This week we’re featuring Noah Moore and his head-turning 2020 Dodge Charger S**t Pack — a modern Mopar build that’s impossible to miss.

🔥 Custom lighting throughout the car
🔥 Custom exhaust with a flame kit
🔥 93 octane tune
🔥 Cold air intake
🔥 Custom wheels
🔥 Full custom wrap
🔥 More upgrades still on the way

And Noah isn’t stopping there — an Air Lift suspension setup is coming soon to take the build even further.

What makes this Charger special?

“It’s one of a kind and when you see it in person it turns your head for sure.”

From the custom styling to the aggressive setup, this S**t Pack is built to stand out day or night — and that’s exactly what earns it a place In the Winner’s Circle.

🏁 In the Winner’s Circle 🏁

This week we’re featuring Vincent Thomason and his unique right-hand-drive Toyota build — a car that definitely stands out from the crowd.

Under the hood sits a legendary Toyota Supra engine paired to a built 5-speed transmission, giving this import a perfect mix of style and performance.

Vincent may not take it out as much these days, but it’s still his “cool car” — and honestly, we agree.

One of the standout features? The right-hand-drive setup that instantly grabs attention anywhere it goes.

Vincent also gave a shoutout to the shop after stopping in to browse:

“Love your guys shop. Visited in there to window shop a while back. You guys have some awesome stock!”

We appreciate the support, Vincent — and your ride has definitely earned a place In the Winner’s Circle.

🏁 In the Winner’s Circle 🏁

This week we’re featuring Zach Lewis and his wild 1956 Chevy — a build that proves plans change, but passion stays the same.

Zach picked up the car in early 2020 with plans to freshen it up and hit the track quickly… but like most real builds, it turned into something much bigger.

The car was taken all the way down to a bare chassis and completely transformed:

🔥 565ci Steve Schmidt Big Block Chevy
🏁 Weld Wheels
🔧 New floor, cage components, and paint
⚙️ Carbon tunnel, new dash, and Racepak system

And of course — plenty of parts sourced through Winner’s Circle Speed & Custom (and more than a few calls to Bob along the way!).

After about a year of updates, the car hit the track and didn’t waste any time — making its way to multiple big money bracket race finals.

From there, the car went to RJ Racecars for even more upgrades:

🔩 New rear end housing
🔩 New 4-link setup
🔩 Anti-roll bar

The result? A car that was “on a string.”

Even after an unfortunate incident at bracket finals where the car fell off the stacker hoist, Zach rebuilt it once again with new bodywork, wing, parachute mount, and windows.

Because in racing — the work never stops.

🔥 Next up? A blown big block Chevy and plans to hit Top Sportsman competition.

That kind of dedication, resilience, and drive is exactly what earns this ‘56 a spot In the Winner’s Circle.

🏁 In the Winner’s Circle 🏁

This week we’re featuring Kyle Shearer and a car that means far more than horsepower — his 1967 Plymouth GTX.

Under the hood is a classic Mopar combination:

🔥 440 Big Block
⚙️ 4-speed manual
💪 Headers
🏁 Single-plane intake
🔧 750 Demon carb
⚡ MSD ignition
🔩 Comp cam

But what truly makes this car special is the story behind it.

Kyle’s grandfather purchased the GTX in 1987 and restored it with Kyle’s father. The car was later sold in 1992 when Kyle was just three years old, and his grandfather passed away a few years later.

Kyle grew up hearing about the car and became so attached to the story that he even got a tattoo of it.

Then in 2023, fate stepped in. Kyle tracked the car down in Tennessee. After nearly two years of building a friendship with the current owner—who had purchased it from his grandfather and kept it in storage—they were finally able to make a deal.

When Kyle picked up the car, he found something incredible:

📄 His grandfather’s 1987 registration still sitting in the glove box.

Almost nothing had changed on the car over the decades besides wheels, a few mechanical updates, and recovered seats.

In another twist of fate, Kyle later met the owner who had the car before his grandfather, a lifelong Joliet resident who even had photos of the car from the mid-1980s.

A car lost to time… and found again by the family who loved it most.

That’s exactly the kind of story that belongs In the Winner’s Circle.

🏁 In the Winner’s Circle 🏁

This week we’re featuring John Cary and his tough 1962 Chevy II — a car built to be driven and proven at the track.

🔥 406 Small Block Chevy
⚙️ Powerglide transmission
🏁 Runs 11.20 in the 1/4 mile

John’s Nova isn’t just a race car — it’s a car he drives anywhere and everywhere, combining street reliability with strong strip performance.

The car is equipped with parts from Winner’s Circle Speed & Custom, and John has been a loyal customer for over 30 years.

“I can’t say enough about the customer service Jim and his team provide.”

Cars like this — built to run hard and enjoyed on the street — are exactly what belong In the Winner’s Circle.
