Now that the fun is over, the work resumes...

The new project Chevy decided it needed a new radiator, and seeing as the thicker core replacement was cheaper for some reason, upgrade it is!

Also scored a roll pan and hidden hitch for $100, so that's a win. Stay tuned for all the details of this next budget build in a few weeks.

Day 3 at the Iola Car Show was good!

The roomy back seat of the Checker and a Milwaukee powered fan worked well to escape the sun. Definitely an awesome 3 days, and it's time to hook up the runt and head home.

Here's a little look of Day 2 of the Iola Car Show

There's some pretty unique builds the go along with the Checker. A Northstar cradle swapped Corvair, a Firebird Formula with a Turbo 6.2 diesel, and one of the best in the show in my opinion, a crazy lowrider Duster!

Looking forward to day 3!

Just beat the rain! The Checker pulled the runt just fine on the 130 mile trip to the Iola area.

Although it's a little wet out, it's still a nice night to relax at the site. Even figured I would break out my super custom camping latern....
