Kelly wins Colton Arends memorial Friday night in his Shryock Built Stock Car. Raced a lot against Colton over the years. This was an honor to get to run this race in memory of him. So many great contingencies they put into this race! Thank You to all!

This is tough post to write….But in the same sentence, an exciting post for me and my business.
End of an era for me that I truly loved, breathed, and dedicated my whole heart to…building Modifieds since age 17.
My complete dream came to fruition in 2001 building modified chassis’s of my own brand Skyrocket Chassis with Eric Kirschbaum. In 2019, Eric ventured onto new things, and in stepped new partners Jason Briese and Mike Hauan. Together we built Modifieds and ventured into the Stock Car world with B&B by Skyrocket. As of June of this year Jason and Mike have ventured on. I, Kelly, sole owner of Shryock Racing over the winter built my own brand Stock car jig. And as of today have 5 of those chassis’s out currently and winning!
I am excited now to be offering Shryock Built Stock Cars! Let’s get you on the list for the 2027 build season! Going to be a limited amount of cars built each year.
That’s the exciting part!
And the next part isn’t really sad….
We are truly excited to announce that we sold all of our Modified and Sport Mod business to new owner Jim Chisholm of Balanced Speed. We have worked with Jim and family from way back in his B-Mod starting days. We are excited for him to shine in his Chassis building career. Many of you already know Jim. Already a proven winner. And already has a USMTS Championship under his belt. He is also a very successful shock builder. We wish you all the best Jim and crew. All modified and sport mod repairs, parts, and setups will now be directed to him. You can still give me a call for setup questions on your Mods. I will still be able to help most of you with questions, and if I can’t…we will work with Jim to get those answered.
So we are ready whenever you are!
