The right candidate will have a passion for auto repair, work independently, and have a career-minded focus. Each automotive technician must be properly licensed and have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service. Experience performing wheel alignments is a must. We service all makes and models.
Automotive Technician / Mechanic responsibilities:
● Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
● Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
● Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
● Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for safety and emissions
● Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
● Perform basic vehicle inspections on every vehicle serviced
● Perform routine automotive maintenance and repair, including oil changes, tire rotations, tires, brakes, suspension, transmission flushes, air conditioning re-charges, wheel alignments, battery installations and headlight/tail light installations, etc
Technician / Mechanic skills
● Ability to operate all auto repair tools
● State Inspection & Emissions license is required
● Ability to perform proper wheel alignments is required
● Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment is a plus
● High school diploma/GED required
● Willingness to participate in ongoing training
● Diesel knowledge a plus
