Quick little line boring job we wrapped up. Huge shoutout to Jay for the help. đź’Ş

Both faces had to be built up nearly 3/8” with weld and then machined back down to 1/4”. The stick bore was originally 105 mm and had to be brought back to the correct 95 mm bushing size. Stick width was 11.5 and needed to be 12" and bucket was 12.5 and needed to be 12"

After spending some time face welding and bore welding, a, we let the equipment do its job. Everything came back into alignment exactly as it should, and the finished result couldn’t have turned out any better. 💯

Precision, patience, and the right equipment make all the difference.

Getting better about posting our work — this one is a Cat CS-563 center hitch we handled onsite: line boring and bore welding using and .

Pin size was 2.997. Bores were pre-cut, bore-welded with two passes, and final-cut to 3.000.

Proud that we can handle jobs like this start-to-finish without outsourcing — disassembly, line boring, reassembly, and even a couple hydraulic hoses. Customer’s happy and already has more work lined up.

Complete teardown and center pivot rebuild on this John Deere 724 loader. We split the machine at the articulation joint to fix worn hitch bores. Line boring was done on-site using our own setup, followed by installation of new bushings , bearings/ races and pins. Bores were brought back to spec for a proper bearing fit. This job tightened up the articulation and brought the machine back to solid working condition. Proud to have done it all ourselves — looking forward to more line boring work ahead.
