Harley-Davidson is recalling several motorcycles because the rear brakes might fail.
The recall includes more than 16,000 2025 and 2026 FLHC, FXBB, FXLRS and FXLRST Softail motorcycles.
The rear brake line may contact the body control module, resulting in a hole in the brake line, a brake fluid leak and loss of rear brakes.
Harley-Davidson will replace the body control module caddy and associated hardware for free. The rear brake line will also be inspected and, if damaged, will be replaced along with associated parts at no charge.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18. Owners can also use their motorcycle’s VIN at NHTSA.gov to see whether it is affected
