Daniel James Renly gave me this idea… I have been searching for my dads 4x4 Chevy van since I was in my early 20s. Power of Facebook helped dan find his dads truck, states away. I know some of my oldest friends will remember it. It may still be in Oregon, I’ve heard of one in sweethome that may be it..

The details I do know, 74-77 g20, it had a 327, half ton running gear. In the rear it had a drawer, partial wall. Flip out rear windows, newer doors off of a 78 or newer, with the body line. Fabricated front bumper with a big warn winch.. I currently have 2 pictures of the van..

Broken teeth on starter ring gear , hard start issues? 06-07 up Harley? Could be the primary chain tensioner is self adjusting too tight, it’s a ratchet style self adjuster. This bike had all these symptoms, pulled it apart found the shoe on the adjuster grooved from the chain, broken teeth on ring gear, which pieces went everywhere in the primary including the stator! This was after 2 starters. And one ride to my house. The fix is a new ring gear press on, unlike what Harley will sell you, and a manual adjuster!
