Another great night of racing at the RC Race Barn. With the later start the temperature was a little cooler and the track was in very good shape thanks to Josh Daly. We had some old friends come out and race with us. Here are the podium finishes.

We have made the decision to start the Saturday races 2 hours later than normal. So the track will open up at 3 with practice starting at 5 and racing starting at 7. With the expected heat and a heat advisory in effect until 8 on Saturday we feel this will give us the best chance to hold a race without everyone getting over heated. It was very hot today but it was very nice once the sun went down. So come on out this Saturday for one of the last chances to get your cars dialed in before the upcoming trophy race.

September 1st, that means there are only 2 months of outdoor racing scheduled at the RC Race Barn. Looks like 17 chances to race for those of you who haven’t been showing up weekly. At the end of October everyone hates to see it end however it is really hard to feel sorry for anyone that hasn’t been coming consistently. Those of us who have been there weekly are getting kind of ready to shut down and try other things. So make your plans to attend some of the remaining races to get you fix in. Hope to see everyone at the track!

We finally had a pretty good turnout for some Dirt Oval racing last night. The Novice class was one of our biggest with several of the racers being there for the first time. Track was good and smooth thanks to Jesse Craig, Josh Daly and Anthony Pace. This old man could get spoiled with help like that. Here are the podium finishes.

We had another great night of Dirt Track racing at the RC Race Barn last night. We all got a chance to drive a brand new Losi Dirt Late Model. We all agreed that it was a very capable car and would make a very fun class. Curtis drove it in the Crate Late Model class proving its durability. Here are the podium finishes.

The Losi Late Model will be at the track for testing this evening. I will provide a spektrum 2s battery and charger for the evening. The car has an IC5 connector if you choose to use your own battery. Anyone at the track is welcome to drive it. Keep in mind I have no spare parts at this time. Please pass it around. I am seeking an honest no tongue holds opinion on this car. I should see un's out there at some point this evening. I am recieving orders that I did not expect to come in, working on my VS 2 Sprint and the bearings for the pulverizer came in today which I would like to get replaced and have it ready to use.
