Due to rising operating costs we will be increasing our labor rate from $55 to $60 per hour. Previous agreed estimates will be honored at the rate set at that time. Some insurance companies have been unwilling to pay our increased rate along with parts and materials we feel are necessary to do a quality repair. Unfortunately we will no longer be able to absorb these short pays and may have to pass these costs on to the vehicle owner. As always we will do our best to negotiate with the insurance company on your behalf. Please remember that insurance companies have to be licensed in the state of Maine in order to sell insurance. If you feel that your insurance company is not paying the prevailing labor rate in your area you should contact the State of Maine (Bureau of Insurance) for assistance with your claim. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause on future claims.

In the last few years State Farm insurance has become very difficult to deal with. In my opinion they are the absolute worst company for auto insurance. I recommend if you are insured with them to look elsewhere and if your auto is hit by someone who is insured with them good luck.
