Paint Prepper.
We are looking for a paint prepper that is a team player who is adaptable to changing technologies and processes. The Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing assigned vehicles for the refinishing and reassembly processes. Duties include sanding vehicles, taping and prepping for paint.
Requirements below:
• 1 year experience as a prepper in a professional body shop
• Team player
• Willing to learn
• Attention to detail
Physical Demands:
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks: manual dexterity
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception
• Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds
• Reaching above and below shoulder level
• Extended period of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high level of dust and noise in repair center
• MUST be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator
Pay is based on experience. We offer paid vacation, health insurance, holiday pay.

Painter will complete the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include masking, sanding, buffing, applying undercoats, mid-coats and top coats. Prepare and apply paint to vehicles (heavy truck, equipment and automotive). Duties include final sanding, masking, color mixing and tinting, spray booth operations. Be able to correct errors in applications of all types of coatings. Mask and protect parts that are not to be painted. Maintain painting equipment to ensure proper performance. Mix paints and primers to exact specifications as per paint manufacturers. Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential. Vehicles must be correctly prepared and refinished to insure proper adhesion, color match and overall appearance. Minimum 3 years experience required. Full time position Monday-Friday 8 hours per day.
