Steve and his son Tanner have been building this 69 mustang for a few years now and it’s now one step closer to being done!
This one was tricky, the floor bracing made the x pipe and cut outs very tight and the rear suspension design left us zero room to get the 3” over the axle. We can’t wait to hear it!

Nes Hernandez’s beautiful 1967 Camaro came in for a few safety updates. We installed a 10lb fireade system with an auto sense block. This system can be manually deployed or it will auto deploy when the thermal bulb senses 175*.

Next we wired up his nitrous system, redid his purge line, fixed the leaks and testing the solenoids. We also rewired a few other items and got all the switches swapped and working in his switch panel.

Continuing with the safety a set of Pro 1 safety 5 point seat belts were installed.

Finally a new rack and pinion from Trz to replace the old worn out one and a quick release from Motion race works.

I want to address this picture that Matt Roewer has been posting all over saying we improperly installed his tick performance lca brackets. These were installed per tics instructions well over 4 years ago ( maybe 5). If you look at the picture the box is still fully intact, it’s the frame rail that failed. Typically the crack starts small and gets bigger over time and should have been caught well before this happened. I spoke to Chris at tick and he said he has never heard of there boxes ripping through the floor of the car. His boxes are on cars that are significantly faster than Matt’s and installed the same way. We were never instructed to box in or add tubes to the boxes as stated. We did not cut the floor out on top of the box. Has car also did not sit at my shop for two years and had to (get pulled). There is also a reason that car has been to 10 different shops and why others won’t work on his car. Race cars break, race cars need to be inspected and maintained. As far as not responding to his random text on a Sunday afternoon I did not know he wrecked his car or that his torque boxes allegedly failed. We are glad to hear that he didn’t get hurt. We take pride in our work and always strive for perfection. Driver safety is our priority!!

High life hauler at the local car show here in down town Janesville

Went to the track last night with Robert I believe this was his first pass in 10+ years. We did a nut and bolt check, hooked up his co2 tuned it and put a new seat belt in. We knew going into it the converter was way to tight but nothing wrong with getting some data and seat time best pass and new personal best last night was a 11.20 . Big shout-out to our friend Don! He originally brought his car in for just TRZ Motorsportsck fixes, but it slowly turned into a complete build front to back. We ended up doing a complete new rear end and suspension, full exhaust, fuel system, rewired the entire car, new interior, cleaned up the engine bay, drop spindles, 4 wheel disc brakes, new front grille, and fixed a bunch of other little issues like the fuel fill leaking or the massive hole in the trans tunnel. This car still looks old school but has many modern features to make it a more enjoyable street car. Along the way we got to know Don and are proud to call him a friend. This is one of our favorite street cars, and we loved every minute of it. Thanks for trusting us with it, Don!”
