Dentworks of Rock County LLC

Dentworks of Rock County LLC I specialize in mobile paintless dent repair. I will come to your home or office and repair minor dents, dings and hail damage.

Paintless dent repair is the process of removing minor dents, dings and hail damage without any filler, sanding or painting. Using specially designed rods, these dents can be removed by pushing from the inside of the panel. When there is no access from the inside of the panel, glue tabs can be used by attaching them to the outside of the panel and pulling the dent out. There are many advantages fo

r using paintless dent repair over a conventional body shop-
*I am a mobile business that will come to you for the repairs. There is no need to get a loaner/rental car while the repairs are being performed.
*The cost of the repairs can be as little as 1/4 of what a conventional body shop will charge. Repairs start at only $75.
*Because of the less expensive repairs, there usually isn't a need to turn in an insurance claim.
*if no insurance claim is filed, there will be no Carfax report!
*Most repairs take less than 2 hours. You won't be without your car overnight like you would at a body shop.
*Because there is no painting involved, your vehicle will still have the original finish and you don't have to worry if the color will match or not.
* Your vehicles resale value will increase.

Got hail damage? I feel for you, I really do. Those storms were wild. I do have some advice for anyone with hail damage on their vehicles. I have had a lot of calls from customers that aren’t sure if they are going through their insurance or paying out of pocket, and that is fine. But, if there is noticeable damage on multiple panels, the cost of repairs will likely be over your deductible.

As far as insurance companies go, I DO work with the insurance companies, but I work FOR YOU. Once you have a claim set up and receive your claim number, feel free to reach out for an estimate. If you have Progressive, they do things a little different. Once you set up your claim, an adjuster will contact you to do an initial estimate. They are usually low and not accurate. After they do their initial estimate, then you can reach out for an estimate from me, or anyone else.

Some insurance companies make it sound like you have to go to a certain shop for the repairs. Sometimes they use scare tactics, or just word things in a way to make it sound like you have no choice. Why? Because they want you to go to their “Preferred Facility” or ”Network Partner“.

What are these facilities? They’re Direct Repair Program shops, or DRP. They have an agreement with the insurance company to work for a reduced rate in exchange for referrals. To me it’s legalized steering. Are they all bad? Absolutely not. But some of them care more about making quick money from the insurance company than they do any making sure things are done right for the customer. No matter who you choose for your repairs, whether it’s me or someone else, you should ask them how hard they will fight on your behalf to make sure a repair is done correctly. This is especially important for collision claims.

The bottom line is they absolutely can not force you to go anywhere for your repairs. This is called steering, and it is very illegal.

If you are looking for an estimate from me, I will be working at Body Crafters in Brodhead, Rock Lake Paint and Repair, and Fueled Customs, both in Lake Mills. Feel free to call them for an appointment, or you can reach me directly at (608)449-2745.

Lastly, me, and every other PDR tech in the area is very overwhelmed. If you call me, there is a very good chance I’m not going to answer. please leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you to everyone that has already reached out and shown patience with any delays in getting back to them.

I almost forgot, just one more thing…support your local PDR technicians. We have a few good ones in the area.

Got a call from a customer outside of my service area in need of some work. I got to take a mini road trip to fix a handful of dings in this beautiful polished aluminum Cobra.
It’s not even close to being severe damage, but there’s no room for error on something like this, and I can’t thank the owner enough for trusting me to do the repairs.

Another day, another vehicle saved from the body shop. This customer realizes the value of paintless dent repair and wanted to save his factory paint. Next stop is some minor touch up and a final polish from the detailer. No Carfax, no plastic filler. PDR for the win!

So, a thing happened last night. Anyone in the area see any hail damage?

It isn’t paintless dent repair when the paint cracks from every push…unfortunately there are a lot of “technicians” who really don’t care what their repairs look like. Choose wisely when you hire someone to perform your repairs.

If the paint isn’t damaged, there is usually no reason to go to the body shop to get your car repainted!
Call (608)449-2745 to set up an appointment, or text photos of your damage for an estimate.
