Another customer that ran into bad luck. This car came in for tuning but was found to have oil pressure issues before we even started. So we talked with the customer hopeful it was just going to need bearings and an oil pump. We quickly found out during tear down that was not the case. Someone put a Chinese cam kit in this car, one that is so cheap it didn’t have a single marking on the camshaft or lifters.

First of many engraved custom grind cams!

Another drift spec 6.0 ready to go. This one is l76 pistons and rods, .040 head gaskets, 243 heads, pac 1207x valve springs and a large custom grind cam that required fly cutting some valve reliefs. For Skyler McCarthy Ls swapped s14.

One drift spec 6.0 in for freshen up and update. This engine has gen 4 l76 pistons and rods, 0.040 head gaskets, ported 799 heads, .660 springs and our jam cam.

Everyone that says their knock off cam is just as good is lying to you. This is a cheap speed master cam we pulled out which isn’t the cam it was supposed to have in the first place. Pieces of metal falling off the cam lobes into the engine doesn’t sound good to me.
