Wright’s Wash Update 9/8: Presoak is fixed!

Just a quick heads-up: our Pre-Soap pump is currently down. We already have a replacement on order and will get it back up and running as soon as possible.

All other wash features are working as intended, so you can still use the wash as normal.

We’ve had several people ask if we’re reopening the outside bay, the answer is definitely YES!

We’re currently working with a contractor on a plan to reinforce the cinderblock wall before we reinstall the outside hose. We want to make sure it’s repaired properly and ready to stay in service.

Our goal is to have the outside bay back open by the end of the month.

This evening, our car wash vacuums received a complete and much-needed refresh! We cleaned them inside and out, installed new gaskets, and even added fresh, clean-scented filters. They’re back to working like new!

Update June 26, 2026

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update and keep you all in the loop on a few things happening around the wash!

We’ve updated the bill validator in our quarter changer, and it is now back to working 100%. We know it was only partially working for a bit, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we got that sorted out!

We also replaced the electric motor in Bay 4, so that bay is back up and running.

Our outside wash bay is temporarily closed while we figure out the best path forward for repairs. Unfortunately, someone caught the overhead boom and caused damage to both the boom and the wall.

We’d actually love some feedback from you all on this one, would you prefer we repair and reinstall the overhead boom, or would a long hose setup on a reel without the boom be something you’d rather have? Let us know in the comments.

We’re always working to keep improving and keeping things running the best we can. We truly appreciate every single person who chooses to wash with us and support our small business.

6/6 Update: The changer is working. Please let us know if you have any issues!

6/2 Update:
Our main bill changer is currently out of service while we replace a failed bill validator.

For anyone curious, the bill validator is the part of the machine that actually scans, verifies, and accepts cash.

Unfortunately ours decided it had enough this week. 😅

We’re working to get it repaired as quickly as possible and appreciate everyone’s patience while we get the changer back online.

✅ Card payments are still available in the bays.
✅ Vacuums and wash bays remain open.

Heads up everyone! Bay 1 sustained some damage yesterday after a vehicle struck the wall.

The bay is still operational, but please use extra caution while pulling in and while using the bay until repairs are completed.
