Job Title: Collision Repair Shop Office Assistant
Job Summary:
The Collision Repair Shop Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the collision repair shop team. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer inquiries on the phone, in person, or via email
Schedule appointments and manage the repair process by updating customers on the status of their repairs
Generate and distribute repair estimates and invoices
Manage customer files and ensure accurate record keeping
Work closely with the repair team to ensure timely completion of repairs
Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
Coordinate with insurance companies and adjusters
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of office experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physical Demands:
The position requires occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds, and prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily located in an office setting within a collision repair shop. The work environment may involve occasional exposure to fumes and loud noises from the repair shop.
