Cammy's Costumes

My niece Cameron is a very creative 12 year old. She loves crafting and art so I am trying to help encourage her to do what she is passionate about. It all started when we were looking for a new costume for an event we attend called Dream Day. The event gives a special day to 50 terminally ill children by creating a magical day of games and character interaction. My family dresses like the Peter P

an clan and my niece is Tinkerbell. When we couldn't find an outfit that she liked, we decided to make one. We bought all the material and she made a Tinkerbell dress. While in the craft store she had an idea to make each one of the children something as a keepsake. We created a Tinkerbell "Pixie Dust" necklace and an Alice in Wonderland "Drink Me" necklace. The kids loved them and several of my coworkers offered to purchase the ones we had left over. I thought this could be a great way to help her raise money for her upcoming school trip to Washington DC next year. She is now in the process of designing other character dresses that will be placed in our online store very soon. We also started selling capes and masks for small children who love to dress like their favorite characters as much as we do. These have also turned out to be great party favors for birthdays.
