Dipstick Jax Peelable auto paint!! Also known as “liquid wrap”. Have a color in mind? (JACKSONVILLE,FL) FAQs:

Q: How do I take care of my vehicle after dipping?

A: Wait about a week to wash it to ensure proper cure time. You can use normal soap and even take it through a car wash. To get an extra shine, use spray wax (our favorite is Meguire's spray wax)

Q: Do you dip wheels as well? A: Of course we do! Dipped wheels adds a nice extra touch to any vehicle. Q: My trim is fading, are you able to fix that? A: Yes, we can bring your trim back to life and mak

e your car look new again! Q: What type of finishes can you do? A: We have access to quite a few exclusive products which allow us to provide Matte, Satin, Gloss, Pearl, Metallic flake, and even Chameleon finishes. Q: How durable and scratch resistant is it? A: Very durable. Originally this product was used for grip on tools, so the durability has long been proven. Q: Do you do door jambs? A: Yes we do, however it is an extra fee. However, we don't recommend it if you plan on peeling soon or want to frequently change your color. Q: So I get my car done, and I decide to get my car redone. Is it the same price? A: No, it is actually about half. Because your car is already dipped, it provides a base coat which significantly lowers product cost. Q: What is the average cost to get my vehicle dipped? A: Please call, message, or text us with your vehicle information and we will be able to give you an accurate price. Prices vary by size, color, and finish.

Not much factory left on this truck EXCEPT the paint! Thats right, the factory black is hiding under this wild liquid wrap we did. At least the owner knows it is protected underneath. This is the second liquid wrap we have applied to this truck. We peeled the first and just put this one on. I don't even want to think about how much money he has put into this thing but hopefully it will turn some heads even when the music is turned down.

Almost done! Liquid wrap needs a thick base to be peelable. That leads to orange peel so we flow coat after the first coats of gloss. The base coat can not be sanded so once the gloss is dry we sand it smooth and gloss it again. We could even buff and polish it for a better finish if the owner wants. Just one of the reasons we prefer liquid wrap over vinyl.

This was a cool color but it's tie for a new one! First we have to peel the old liquid wrap. It takes a minute to get it sarted and then its's smooth sailing from there!

Spray, Peel, Repeat. This is why some choose peelable paint. This owner likes to change up the color of his truck often but he wants that glossy auto paint look. Vinyl can look dull, leave glue, and is not buffable. Liquid wrap, on the other hand, looks just like paint. Plus you can buff it! We peeled his old color, cleaned up the truck, masked it off, and sprayed the new color. I like using the turbine for the base coat. The application is fast and it reduces the amount of time my compressor is working. When it comes time for the gloss I switch over to the compressor for better atomization. Cant wait to see what color he picks next!

Im glad she likes it! We used twice the amount of pearl we normally do so that the color is more pronounced. Still a white base so its not all out color but the perfect blend of subtly and exuberance.

Time for some color! We did a unique fade on this Escalade from black on the top to white on the bottom. We had to spice it up of course with some reflective diamond pearls and flakes. Now it its all dressed up in a tuxedo liquid wrap!
