Some days it’s not about the newest technology… it’s about keeping the old school rides alive.

Two Dodge Magnum wagons in the shop today — both with over 200k miles and still turning heads. One SRT8 and one HEMI wagon, both proving that good maintenance and a little love can keep these classics on the road for a long time.

Truth is, a lot of these older vehicles are outlasting some of what’s being produced today. Built with personality, simpler systems, and drivetrains that can still be repaired and maintained properly.

Not many shops still service these anymore… and you definitely won’t see many dealerships wanting to work on them. That’s where experience matters. 💪🔧

As I lay in bed this morning with many thoughts running through my mind I begin to think what I’ve learned since becoming an adult (it’s only taken 40 years). Work very hard as it is good for the body, the mind and the spirit. Play hard on occasion but not as often as working hard. Love your children no matter what but let them be responsible for their decisions, their actions and the results of those. Always be committed to the one you love, the one that loves you. Make that person the most important part of your life. Never give them a reason to not trust you as it is impossible to rebuild that trust once you’ve broken it. Be honest with everyone who enters your life, it’s much easier than the other option. Don’t smoke, don’t do drugs and drinking isn’t mandatory. Eat things like vegetables, fruits, salads, chicken and turkey most of the time and things like ice cream, chips and cookies on occasion. Drink lots and lots of water, a little sweet tea and a soda on occasion. Your health will become the most important part of life whether it’s good or bad. Always give thanks to The Lord and give something back to society on a regular basis. There’s much much more I’ve learned and still learning…TBC
