A new race motor deserves a proper shakedown. 🏁

What you’re seeing is a client’s 3.0 RSR on the chassis dyno as the Classic 9 Motorsports team tests its new race motor.

This allows us to run the car under controlled conditions, monitor how the new motor is performing, and work through the fine tuning before it heads back to the track.

It’s all part of the work happening within Classic 9 Motorsports, our dedicated racing division focused on race preparation, testing, development, and performance.

Every great build starts somewhere. For this Carrera RS Tribute, it starts at the foundation.

We’re deep into the metal restoration process with Gary Brown, carefully cutting out sections that need to be replaced and fitting fresh metal back into the chassis. Recent work has focused on the outer rocker panel and front bulkhead, including the wind deflector for the oil cooling system.

It may be a bare chassis now, but this is where the quality of the finished car begins. Proper fitment, solid metal and attention to the details that most people will never see.

There’s a long way to go, but that’s the beauty of the process.

A 911 RSR, taking shape one stage at a time.

From primer to fresh paint, this Classic 9 Motorwerks build is moving well beyond the bodywork and into the systems that will bring it to life.

The wiring harness and fuse panel are now installed, and our freshly powder-coated components are back in the shop and ready to go. Next week, we turn our attention to the suspension and begin getting this RSR back on its feet.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, and that’s exactly how it should be. A build of this caliber is measured in details, not deadlines. Every component, connection, and finish has a purpose.

Respect the 911. Build beyond it.
