Shop & Fleet Service Update – Stonecold Automotive & Recovery

It’s been a busy stretch at Stonecold Automotive & Recovery, and we wanted to share a few recent projects that reflect what we do best — complete, correct repairs from start to finish.

We recently repaired a Mitsubishi Outlander after a used engine had been installed elsewhere without the recommended maintenance being completed prior to installation. That oversight led to premature failure. Our team replaced the engine properly, completed all required timing components and preventative maintenance, verified specifications, and returned the vehicle to the customer road-ready and reliable.

We’ve also completed a Jeep Cherokee 3.6L Pentastar repair that included full timing components and a head gasket service. The Pentastar platform requires precise setup and attention to detail, and this one is now back on the road running strong.

Currently in the shop is a 1997 Chevy Silverado receiving a complete engine replacement. It is in final assembly and scheduled to be ready to roll by the end of the day.

From engine replacements and timing repairs to full mechanical diagnostics, we focus on doing the job correctly the first time. As a full-service automotive repair and towing provider, we’re able to recover, diagnose, repair, and return vehicles to service without customers having to coordinate multiple companies.

We understand recent weather conditions and parts supply challenges have created delays across the industry. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through those variables while maintaining our quality standards.

Thank you to everyone who has called us for towing and roadside assistance, especially during the recent muddy recoveries and difficult conditions. We’re proud to be there when you need help getting back on the road.
