A wheel can look terrible when it comes in and completely different when the repair is finished.
But here's the important part:
Not every damaged wheel should be repaired.
I inspect the damage first and determine whether the wheel is a reasonable repair candidate.
15+ years repairing aluminum wheels taught me one thing—knowing when NOT to repair a wheel is just as important as knowing how to fix one.

Everybody immediately thinks TIRES.

But sometimes the problem is a BENT WHEEL.

A hard pothole impact can bend the wheel enough to create vibration even when it doesn't look terrible from the outside.

If balancing the tires isn't solving the problem, it may be time to inspect the wheels.
