MotoSteps MotoSteps is a non-profit organization specializing in the safety of all motorists, particularly moto These are statistics we are very proud of.

At MotoSteps, our ultimate goal is to work with schools, hospitals, motorcycle clubs, and others interested in roadway/motorcycle safety issues such as:

• Impaired motorists,
• Distracted Driving/Share the Road
• Motorcycle safety

With partnerships with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), and the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), MotoSteps has provided motorcycle safet

y training to more than 600 new, returning, and experienced riders. We also provide Skill Development Classes that focus on improving those skills including: braking, curves, and crash avoidance. Our current survey indicates that 96% of our students have never been in a motorcycle related accident. Of the 4% that have been in motorcycle related accidents, 86% indicated the accident was not their fault. 92% of the 4% believe the skills they learned at MotoSteps helped decrease the severity of the accident. They show we are making a positive difference in the riding behaviors of those motorcyclists who participate in our program. We want to provide these classes to all. Mississippi Motorcycle fatalities have increased according to NHTSA(2019-2020). A majority of roadway users that enjoy riding motorcycles also drive cars and trucks. The rules of the road goes both ways. A very high number of crashes occur at INTERSECTIONS. It's very important that when stopped at a red light, or driving through an intersection during yellow, and green lights, and especially before turning, please "Look Twice for Motorcycles"!

Heey great news... The "Look Twice for Motorcycles" license plate is now available for motorcycles at your county tax collectors office. . As a courtesy we can appoint the first ten(10) tags, numbers 1-10. We still have numbers #6, #8, and #9 available. If you are interested in getting the specialty license plate comment here quickly. The extra cost for it is $33.

If your organization missed the First Annual Southern Brass Band Extravaganza, it’s that time to make sure you all are on the list to be present at this year’s 2nd Annual Southern Brass Band Extravaganza! 2021 means “EVERYTHING IS BETTER” We have moved this musical tradition to the spacious Sparkman Center located in the center of The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson, Mississippi. This location is easily found off the closest interstate of I-55, and adjacent to Lakeland Dr. The Sparkman Center is guaranteed to promote all the spacious, and professional upgrades you as a participant would expect and more. The Southern Brass Band Extravaganza is ready to get all our jams on! We will bring high-spirited music and fun to the stage and give the crowds exactly what they want–a good time. Our exclusive, and very selective brass bands musical selections will include tons of pop and hip-hop songs that have been given a jazzed-up twist, which means there will be many songs that everyone knows, loves, and can sing and dance along to.
