Are you a combat-wounded veteran or Gold Star spouse who could benefit from a payment-free vehicle?

The Maguire Foundation and Maguire Automotive Group are proud to support the Military Warriors Support Foundation's Transportation4Heroes program, which provides payment-free vehicles and financial mentoring to combat-wounded veterans and Gold Star spouses.

One Central New York recipient will be selected and awarded a vehicle during Jeeps at the Beach on August 2, 2026.

To qualify, applicants must:
• Live within the designated application radius (approx one-hour radius of Syracuse, NY)
• Be a combat-wounded veteran or unmarried Gold Star spouse
• Not be currently serving on active duty
• Be able to obtain vehicle insurance
• Have no more than one vehicle loan or lease per household

Tomorrow, the Maguire Foundation and Maguire Automotive Group are honored to recognize World War II veteran David Detlor as he rides alongside Team Maguire in the Baldwinsville Memorial Day Parade. ❤️🤍💙

After graduating from Liverpool High School in 1944, David joined the U.S. Army and served with the 9th Infantry during the Battle of the Bulge. While fighting on the front lines, he was injured by an artillery explosion and later continued serving until receiving a medical discharge.

Following his military service, David spent decades serving his community, including 54 years as the owner of Dave’s Barber Shop in Liverpool. In 2015, he also participated in the Honor Flight program, an experience he remains deeply proud of.

David was honored as the Baldwinsville Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshal in 2024, and we are proud to help celebrate his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country this Memorial Day.

This Memorial Day Weekend, the Maguire Automotive Group and the Maguire Foundation were honored to stand alongside our communities in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Throughout the weekend, our teams proudly participated in FIVE Memorial Day parades across Canandaigua, Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Camillus, and Jordan, while also attending the Waterloo Memorial Day Commemoration event in all while raising awareness for Transportation4Heroes.🚙

From honoring veterans, to raising awareness for the Transportation4Heroes program, to selling ducks in support of the Maguire Foundation, this weekend served as a powerful reminder that Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to reflect, remember, and give back. ❤️

To all those who served, those we have lost, and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward — thank you. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🕊️
