Mobile Dragway after 23 years of drag racing has moved operations to Atmore, Alabama as Atmore Dragway located near the WindCreek Casino. Atmore Dragway is a NHRA sanctioned drag racing facility on 40 acres of beautiful landscaped Poarch and of Creek Indian property located near the WindCreek Casino in Atmore, AL. With a highly experienced staff, drag race events will be a variety of racing Pro Mods, Top Dragsters, Bracket Racing, Jr Dragsters, Heads up, Gassers, Motorcycles, and others. The Poarch Creek Tribal Council made the community decision to undergo a much-needed $2+ million improvement project. The facility allows for a diversity of events, spectator seating, better pit areas for race vehicles, improved spectator parking and access to all areas of the facility, and an unsurpassed venue for sponsor involvement with improved sign visibility. Total resurfacing of over 1/8 mile dragstrip of all-concrete surface with new asphalt in the staging lanes and shutdown over 1/8 mile of shutdown area with a safe sand pit at the end. A new sports LED lighting system provides one of the best lit tracks in the country. New TSI Timing System featuring all fiber-optic lines with new LED Scoreboards for drag race enthusiasts. Atmore Dragway track equipment includes the track prep “Tire Rotator” drag built, a 72” track scrubber, TYMCO track sweeper and custom spray rig for proper track prepping. Atmore Dragway has a fully equipped ambulance on site for all events and partners with the PBCI Fire department. Safety trucks include a fire suppression system, including gaseous, dry chemical, and foam.
