Well I took this wrecked 1971 Firebird in a few months back. Another shop let it sit for two months without starting on it. So the owner asked if I wanted to do it. So I did.. it was a long journey locating used parts as the owner didn’t want aftermarket Chinese parts on the car. I finally got it painted today. A very big step. No to sand a lil dirt out of it & start assembly

After numerous hours on this long trip. I finally got the body part of the 66 Mustang cpe in paint & clear coat. All the other bolt on parts are painted & ready to start the assembly process.. that’s really the fun part. I don’t know any painter that loves the sanding & prep work for a complete paint job.

Finally got around to getting paint on my lil mustang. The rest of the parts are painted already so this is the finish up of the paint work.

Close to finishing the 67 Mustang Fastback. I did a little color sanding & buffing to make it even more slick than it was in the paint booth. A little cleanup & bolt a few parts on & it will be ready to go back to the customer.
