My friends I have a couple announcements which I have probably already put off too long, but ultimately, I must put it out there.

First announcement is that I have been blessed with a tremendous amount of work and I now need help in the shop.

Which leads me into my second announcement. Not only am I flush with work, but I also recently injured my shoulder and will be having rotator cuff surgery next month. Therefore, I need someone to be "my hands" in the shop as well.

If you are interested, or you know someone who may be interested, please contact me by phone or text. I don't check emails as much as I should, and I am rarely on Facebook.

I am looking for someone who can start out part-time and likely work into a full-time position pretty quickly depending on workload moving forward and my rate of healing. They must be able to drive and have a driver's license, lift 30 - 50 lbs, and show up consistently as scheduled. My current shop hours are M-F 9-5 and Sat 9-12.
I'd prefer someone with some mechanical background or tech school training for mechanic work, but I would be willing to train someone who is sincerely willing to listen and learn.
I provide service manuals and use of specialty tools for everything we work on; however, the candidate should be prepared to bring their own toolbox with basic mechanic tools. I can produce a list for serious inquiries.
Starting pay is dependent on experience and ability. Ranging from $15 - $23/hour.

Kranky's Powersports is happy to announce that we have moved our shop location to 8440 US-2, Iron River, WI 54847!

The new location is much easier to access for customers with trailers and is located just off the tri-county corridor in Iron River, Wisconsin.

The shop is much larger, offering a more efficient work area than before. We now have an office with small retail area, where we will offer a limited number of items for sale.

Although we are still settling into our new location, we hope you will stop by and check us out.

Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, and Saturday 9am - Noon. Other times available by appointment.
Kranky's still offers limited pick-up and delivery for a fee. Please keep that in mind if the office is closed during normal business hours, Roger won't be gone long.

Whether you like it or not, the snow is melting and will be gone soon. That means it's time to summarize and put away the snowmobiles as well as get the ATVs, SXSs and outboards ready for action.
Now is the best time to get all of your summer toys ready. Call 715.619.0159 and set up a time to get caught up on maintenance or other repairs before it's time to play!

We will be closed this Saturday January 15th to volunteer at the Fishin' Chick's event in Iron River, WI. If you are not familiar with the Fishing Chick's charity, I encourage you to look them up here on Facebook and consider joining us this coming Saturday (the 15th of January) to help raise money for this worthy cause. Lots of prizes, and fun for everyone! Hope to see you there!

Unfortunately the snowmobile trails aren't open just yet, most ice is still too thin to fish (for my comfort). But the Christmas and New Years holidays are just days away.

Kranky's Powersports will be closed this weekend including today (Dec. 17th - 19th), next Saturday Dec. 25th, and the following Saturday Jan. 1st, to be with family.
I will be putting in extra hours Mondays through Fridays over the next couple weeks to finish up machines as parts come in.
I apologize if this is an inconvenience for anyone.

If you haven't done it yet, now is the time to winterize your summer toys before you put them into storage. This includes boats, PWC, pressure washer, camper, lawnmower, and anything else you don't plan to use until next spring that could freeze and break, or runs on fuel.

Kranky's Powersports now offers shrink wrapping for boats and pontoons. If you need it done, give me a call soon.

Now is also the time to dig out your snowmobile, ice auger, snow blower or other winter equipment to get it checked out before this up coming winter settles in.

It has been hit and miss with parts all summer. Some items are in stock and available, some items take weeks to aquire. So don't delay, get your toys tuned up so you don't miss a moment of the fun!

Halfway through February folks, and although the snowmobilers could use a few more inches of snow to finish out the year, spring will be here before you know it!
If your atv, sxs, or boat motor gave you issues last fall, now is the time to start thinking about repairs or a tune up. Don't wait until you need it!
