In South Carolina, many vehicles are sold “As-Is.” That means once you buy it, the responsibility becomes yours.

Recently, a customer came to JCA Auto Service before purchasing a vehicle. From the outside, it looked like a reasonable deal. But after a proper inspection, we found severe structural corrosion, compromised suspension mounting points, missing drivetrain components, and a vehicle that was not safe to operate.

This is the part most people don’t realize: without a professional inspection, problems like this are easy to miss. And once a vehicle is purchased “As-Is,” those problems become your responsibility.
