We know it adds up.
Something that was $4 is suddenly $6. A few other things go up fifty cents or a dollar. By the time you get to the register, all those little increases aren't so little anymore.
So we've been going through the grocery department, item by item, and lowering prices where we can.
We've been at it for a few weeks, and we're not finished. You'll continue seeing changes over the next week or two as we work our way through the store.
We know what things cost, and we feel it too. Most of us who work here shop here. We see it from both sides of the counter, and we know what a cart full of groceries costs.
We're also a small general store in Industry. We don't have the buying power of the big stores, and sometimes when the prices we pay go up, ours prices have to go up too.
But that doesn't mean we stop trying.
If there's room to lower something, we want to find it.
Because having a store close to home matters. A place where the person behind the register knows you and the person in feed knows what you're feeding.
And none of it is here without you.
Every bag of groceries, sack of feed, pound of meat, and quick stop on the way home helps keep these doors open and people from this community working here.
We don't take that for granted.
We won't always beat the big stores. But we'll keep looking. And when we can bring something down, we will.
You've helped keep Lindemann Store here. We'll keep working to make it worth the stop.
Lindemann StoreBuilt on trust, stocked with everything else.
