🚗🦃 Holiday Travel Vehicle Checklist Before you pack the pie and hit the highway, make sure your vehicle’s ready for the trip:
✅ Tires
Check tread depth and tire pressure (including the spare!)
Look for cracks, bulges, or uneven wear
✅ Battery
Test battery strength—cold weather drains power fast
Check for corrosion on terminals
✅ Fluids
Top off oil, coolant, windshield washer fluid, and brake fluid
Look for leaks under the vehicle
✅ Lights & Wipers
Make sure headlights, brake lights, and turn signals are working
Replace worn wiper blades for clear visibility
✅ Brakes
Listen for squeaks or grinding
Have them inspected if stopping feels off
✅ Emergency Kit
Pack jumper cables, flashlight, blanket, water, snacks, and a phone charger
Add gloves and ice scraper for winter travel
✅ Heat & Defrost
Test your heater and defroster before you need them
