We might be a little sore from the information whiplash in the last 24 hours..
But! The 2026 Red White and Blue Figure 8 Champion, is none other than my Teammate, Mr. Matt Bauer! Matt drove all three races hard, smart and consistently to high finishes. Last night, he walked away with a 2nd place finish, and after a VERY close point battle, he claimed victory for his second RWB Championship.
Matt has always been a crucial part of my racing program for many years, so we are so proud to watch him succeed and be part of his team this year.
So congratulations Matt!

One of the best pieces of advice I can give to young drivers in motorsports:

Never burn a bridge. This sport is built on relationships, and it’s amazing how often paths cross again down the road. Teams, sponsors, and partnerships don’t always work out the way we hope — that’s just part of the journey. But no matter how a situation ends, always show appreciation for the opportunities and support you’ve received, whether it’s a ride, a sponsor, or simply someone who helped you take the next step.

Motorsports is a small world, and your reputation travels faster than your car. Staying professional, respectful, and thankful can open doors you didn’t even know existed — sometimes years later. You never know when a past connection might become your next opportunity.
