Some people really put the “project” in project car…

This Vortech-supercharged 2008 Corvette came to us for a clutch after being “built” out of state—but we quickly uncovered much more: an unnecessarily removed A/C system, a slave cylinder assembly JB-Welded together with C5 components, poor wiring repairs, failed engine mounts, bald tires, multiple leaks, and an overly aggressive tune that made the car difficult to drive.

We corrected the build with:

• Mantic 9000 Series clutch kit
• New OEM A/C system
• New engine mounts
• Multiple leak and wiring repairs
• Custom-fabricated exhaust system
• Toyo Proxes R888R tires
• A safer, properly dialed-in tune

The result: 697 RWHP and 622 lb-ft of torque on pump E85 at 10 PSI—with improved reliability, performance, and street manners.
