I have an appreciation post to make for a not-so-local-to-BG local business. I bought a van in Indianapolis this weekend to haul our new cart to events (soft launch!), but it needed some work before I felt safe to drive it home. I stayed an extra night, and was waiting at Martin Automotive in Indianapolis this morning when they opened. I found them online, and I wasn’t sure they’d have time to take me, but I started there. From the time I walked in, the service was top notch. I told them I lived 4 hours away and told them the issues. They said they’d try to look at things quickly, as I needed to check out of my hotel at noon. I waited, and sure enough - they checked it out, told me what was happening, and gave me options for the work. (While I was waiting, I overheard them having to book people for next week because they’re so full - so I’m extra thankful they worked me in!) I let them know what I wanted, then they gave me a lift to my hotel. (So nice!) I got checked out of the hotel, and had time to walk around a nearby mall and bookstore, and then they called with it all fixed! They were all so kind, and even though I’m sure it put them behind, I was so grateful that they helped me out today. (They even looked it over to make sure things looked good since I had a long drive!) So, if you’re in Indianapolis, IN and need your car repaired (or if you find yourself stranded there needing a repair!) - this is the place to take it!
